Julie Dorencz, nee Jacecko, 81, December 12, 2017, longtime resident of of the Southwest side of Chicago--Clearing neighborhood, beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Dorencz; devoted mother of Ken (Janet) Dorencz, Lynette (Mark) Nutter, Mark (Melissa) Dorencz and Thomas (Karen) Dorencz; loving grandmother of Jacob, Amanda, Joseph, Nicole, Ian, Camryn, Devin, Alexandra, Jessica and Jayden; dear sister of Olga (late Elden) Brown; Preceded in death by parents, Dimitri Jacecko and Anna (late Daniel) Sobol, nee Dyda; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Julie was a member of the choir at Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, cared for the elderly as a home health aid, and made the best oatmeal cookies EVER!

Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, on Thursday, Dec. 14, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Friday, Dec. 15, 9 a.m. at chapel, to Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, 8301 S. Leclaire Ave., Burbank, IL. Services 10 a.m. Fr. Gregory Bruner, officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
