Elieser Gonzalez, 66, February 7, 2018, Long time resident of the southwest side of Chicago, Marquette Park neighborhood. Beloved husband of Maria I. Gonzalez, nee Alvarez. Son of the late Jose and Guadalupe Gonzalez. Cherished father of Jose L., Yolanda, Ana R., Eliezer, Felix and Laura . Devoted brother of 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Adored grandfather Adored grandfather of Jackie, Yesenia, Suzy, Gerardo Jr., Vanessa, Crystal, Marisabel, Bryanna, Griselda, Elisa, Emily, Chicharin, Felix Jr., and Giovanni, Great grandfather of Giselle, Adrian, Ariana, and Cristian Eliezer.

Elieser was a great son, husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle, who started each day with a hot cup of coffee. He had a great love for gardening, BBQ’s and cooking his famous Shrimp and Salsa dishes, not to mention enjoying homemade Shrimp cocktail! He was a generous man, thought of family first. He never held a grudge and was a true friend to many. One of his favorite pass-times beside time with his family, was enjoying the company of his furry pets. He loved his dogs and always had a smile on his face playing with them. His dream was to build a home in Mexico. This dream is 80% complete and will be a wonderful remembrance of him, for his family to enjoy. He and his jokester nature will be immensely missed by all.

Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, on Friday, Feb. 9, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, Feb. 10, 9 a.m., at chapel, to St. Adrian Church, 7000 S. Fairfield Ave., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
