Abel Marin Ruiz, 24, September 2, 2020, of Berwyn, IL, cherished son of Abelardo and Consuelo; proud father “Papi” of Diana Elizabeth Ruiz, and grateful to her mother Brenda for her love and care of their daughter; fun loving brother of Jennifer (Anthony) Guzman and ecstatic uncle to their baby boy Samson Elliott; dear life long friend, since kindergarten, to Joey.
Abel loved snacks, especially his favorite “Takis.” Abel loved to play video games, listening to music, especially Rap and EDM dance parties. Abel was a homebody when not working as a plumber. Abel cherished time with his family and friends and his daughter, Diana, meant to world to him.
Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, September 6, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. THERE WILL BE NO SERVICES ON MONDAY, LABOR DAY, September 7. Funeral Tuesday, September 8, 2020, chapel prayers 9 a.m., to St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 54th Street and Nashville Avenue, Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Burial Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
