Albert Engelbrecht, 85, October 27, 2019, beloved husband of Barbara Engelbrecht, nee Herman; devoted father of Kenneth Paul Engelbrecht (died 2006) and Diana (Michael) Korting; grandfather of Jessica Barry; dear stepfather of Robert Green and Kenneth (Dolores) Green; fond brother of Norma (Neil) Hawkinson;
Albert grew up in Hyde Park, was baptized at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, and spent most of his youth at the Museum of Science & Industry. Albert worked for over 30 years as a market manager at National Tea Co. For the last 47 years, he and Barbara lived in Calumet City, IL.
Services at McINERNEY CENTRAL CHAPEL, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, 10:15 a.m., at chapel, to St. Gabriel Church, 600 W. 45th St., Chicago.
