Obituary for Ann Osusky

ANN OSUSKY, 99, of Chicago, died on
April 22, 2023, peacefully, at home after living a full life.

Ann was born on February 9, 1924 in Chicago. Her family immigrated from Ukraine through Ellis Island. She worked as a secretary until she retired. At age 65, Ann got the "travel bug" visiting over 25 countries but her favorite vacation was always Hawaii. She loved spending time with her family and friends, including friendships that started as early as elementary school. Ann gave to countless charities and had a strong Catholic faith. She found much pleasure in her garden, reading, taking nature walks, and collecting either seashells, pinecones, or rocks from every place she visited. Her quick wit and sharp mind kept the whole family entertained! Lastly, who could forget her signature potato salad and pierogis?

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Osusky. She is survived by her four children; Tom (Ploy) Lynn (Terry) Sue, and Jim. Her grandchildren; Lisa (Steve) Jared (Emily) Dan (Monique) Trisha (Joe)
Angelica (James) Rochelle (Brian)
Maura and Tony. Her great grandkids; Austin, Adam, Luke, Jackson, Charlotte, Alan, Emma, Amora, Anthony, Trinity, Deonna, Natalia, Tyler, Ethan, Annabella, Raylind, and Soren

Services will be held at Central Funeral Home, 6158 S. Central Ave. Chicago, IL on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 10 to 11 a.m. Service starting promptly at 11 a.m.

After services, the burial will held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, IL.

"I lived by the golden rule. Do unto others, as they do unto you."
