Anthony Smeltz
39, lifelong resident of the Southside of Chicago, February 1, 2023. Beloved son of Louis and Donna Smeltz (Garcia); loving father of Steven Smeltz; dear partner of Stephanie Bajic; cherished brother of Rachel Smeltz; fond uncle of Rainah, Ryan, and Jameson; dear nephew and cousin; and loyal friend to many.
Anthony was an avid fisherman, and die-hard Chicago Bulls fan. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July. He enjoyed watching all the different firework shows with family and friends. His family described him as the “local handyman.” He would always help someone in need, and could fix just about anything.
Services at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace Street, Chicago, IL 60609. Where family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 3-8 pm. Cremation following in accordance with his wishes.
