Aurora Fernandez, 74, July 1, 2019, longtime resident of the Southwest side of Chicago, West Lawn
neighborhood. Dearly beloved wife of the late Mateo Fernandez. Devoted mother of Miguel (Amparo), Fernandez, Jose Fernandez and Alfredo Fernandez. Proud grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 3. She was cherished by her many brothers and sisters, and an adored aunt and great aunt of many. Preceded in death by her parents. Aurora loved gardening and cooking. Her favorite times were spent with her family and grandchildren. She loved watching Univision and Telemundo! Her Dog Duke and she, had a great bond.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Avenue., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, July 6, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Sunday, July 7, 11 a.m., at Central Chapel. Burial in Mexico with her husband, Mateo.
