Carmen E. Chan Maldonado, 50, February 28, 2022 of Whiting, Indiana. Beloved wife of Scott Maldonado and cherished mother of Julian Chan. Adored daughter of the late Francisco Chan and Amparo Chan.
Carmen was a devoted sister of Francisco Chan and a fun loving aunt of Alexis Chan and Jessica Chan.
Carmen had a "bubbly" personality. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a extrovert. She loved having family and friends around. She loved to cook, especially pasta. Carmen enjoyed a variety of music of the Spanish culture. She will be miss by all who knew her.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, March 13, , 2022 from 2 to 8 p.m. Prayer Service time pending. Cremation will follow in accordance with Carmen's wishes. For those attending services, MASK WEARING IS ENCOURAGED.
