Obituary for Darryl Brownlee
Darryl Brownlee, 64, October 12, 2020, of Broadview, IL, beloved son of the late John and Rose (Higgins) Brownlee; devoted brother of Ralph Crawford, Eric (Sandra) Brownlee and Moira (late James) Brownlee. Darryl was a cherished uncle and friend to many.
Darryl loved Gospel music and spent many a day listening to Moody Radio. He loved to eat all types of food, especially if it was shared with his family or his church family. Darryl worked many years in his family business, a bakery, owned by his mom. He was a proud member of the Church of Christians in Oak Park, IL, for over 40 years, and was thankful for the ministry shared by Pastor Terry Hansen. He was grateful for the care his sister-in-law, Sandra, gave to him. She always “looked out for him.”
Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Pastor Terry Hansen, officiating. Burial Forest Home Cemetery, 863 Des Plaines Avenue, Forest Park, IL.
