Obituary for Dawn Marie Rodriguez
Dawn Rodriguez nee Brown, 49, lifelong resident of Chicago’s Southside, passed away on November 1, 2022. Beloved wife of Joseph Rodriguez; Devoted mother of Jesse Brown; loving grandmother of Anthony Brown, Jesse Brown Jr., Joshua Brown, and Angelo Brown; cherished sister of Robert Brown.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Theresa Brown nee Jesse.
Dawn was a proud member of Nativity of Our Lord church where she was a parishioner, and taught CCD classes. She devoted most of her time to her grandchildren, her pets, and maintaining her home. Dawn was a very festive woman. She enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays and baking sweet treats.
Services at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace Street, Chicago, IL 60609. Where family and friends will gather on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Monday, November 7, 2022 with chapel prayers at 9 am to Nativity of Our Lord Church for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Cremation will follow in accordance with Dawn’s wishes. Future burial at St. Mary Cemetery will be planned.
