Obituary for Diana Alice Kozak-Marleau

Diana Alice Kozak-Marleau, “Mimi” age 77, passed away on December 11, 2023 surrounded by family.

Survived by best dog Sadie, daughter Belinda Jorzak, partner Greg Corrie, grandchildren Diana DiBari, James (Tiffany) Durkin, Michael (Erin) DiBari, Samantha (Jacob) Runyan, Jamie Durkin, and Jessica Durkin, great-grandchildren Damian Pizano, Mia Pizano, Jayden Beeler, Max Shafer, Keaton Miller, and Juliana Harkless, nieces Kathleen (Eric) Pengelly, Annie Verdaglio, and Alyssa Verdaglio, and best friend Debbie Kulpa.

Rejoined with her late daughter Elizabeth Durkin, husband Robert Marleau, siblings Larry Kozak, Bobby Kozak, Frank Kozak, Rocky Kozak, and Loretta Verdaglio, nephews Raymond and Anthony Verdaglio, parents George and Marie Kozak, and Granny Bear.

Diana enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially weekends at Woodhaven Lakes, and fishing trips in Canada and of course the Sunday Pool Parties! She was a die-hard Blackhawks fan, and avid bowler. Most of all Diana cherished time with her family. She was deeply loved by all and will never be forgotten.

Services will be held at Central Chapel 6158 S. Central, Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. at Funeral Home to St. Symphorosa Church, 62 and Austin Avenue, Chicago for a 10 a.m. Mass of Chrisitan Burial. Cremation following in accordance with Diana’s wishes.
