69, longtime Canaryville resident, currently residing in Plymouth, IN, May 6, 2023. Beloved son of the late Anthony DiCharia and late Rose “Madros” Smith; loving father of Christy DiCharia (James Shew) and Meech (Erica) DiCharia; cherished grandfather of Mackenzie, Skylar, and Mason DiCharia; dearest brother of Maryann (Thomas) Millard, Veronica “Nonnie” (late Donald) Dowling, late Michelle “Pokie” Madros, Robert Sparr, Michael (Colleen Mullins) Sparr, John (Lorraine) Sparr, and Michael “Little Man” (Gina) Madros; fond uncle of Tonya, DJ, Zachary, Maryellen, Michael, Steven, Brandi, Gino, Giana, Sarah, Amy, Mike, Kimberly,Shannon, and Tiffany; also survived by Maureen DiCharia.
Edward served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a carpenter, chef, and artist.
Services at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace Street, Chicago, IL 60609 on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Service 7:30 pm. Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes.
