I met Ed when I interviewed with him at CTA. It turned out I knew his father from the Testing Center at the City as he helped me qualify some products under consideration when I was an engineer at the RTA and subsequently Pace.

We also had a love for bicycling in common and would frequently chat about it. Ed and I went on long distance rides together that I will never forget.

Ed was such a special guy that I will always feel blessed having for a boss/friend.

Edward and I worked together at the Regional Transportation Authority for several years.
I liked him a lot. He was the best purchasing manager at RTA during my purchasing days there.
When I found out he liked "Elvis", I found a doll of him, and presented it to Ed for his birthday.
I was so happy he liked it. I had not seen him in a while, but would ask others about him.
He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Ed was a wonderful guy. Huge heart. He took the time to help, teach, and encourage me through a lot around the office. I miss him already.
