Eleanore F. Butkewicz (Uhlenberg); 95, passed away on September 1, 2022 in Panama City Beach, FL. Formerly of the Chicago’s South Side, Canaryville neighborhood.
Beloved wife of the late Walter Butkewicz Sr.; loving mother of the late Walter L. "Wally" Butkewicz Jr., Christine (Ray) Crain-DeHoyos, Antoinette “Toni” (James) Jaseckas, Grace Butkus and Eleanore (Glenn) McKee; grandmother of Antoinette (John) Heelan, Patrick Dwyer, Sean Dwyer, the late Lauren McKee and the late John Micahel Crain; Great Grandmother to Patrick Dwyer Jr., Shanna Lamb, Sara Lamb, Samantha Lamb, James Lamb Jr., and James Dwyer, Great-Great Grandmother to Alize Ashley and Michael Ashley Jr.; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Worked until retirement at Lefton China Company. Proud member of Canaryville Women’s Club and avid Bingo Player.
Services at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, Illinois where family and friends will gather on September 9, 2022 from 3 PM to 8 PM. Funeral is on September 10, 2022 with chapel prayers at 9 a.m. to St. Gabriel's Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. For those attending services please note wearing of masks are encouraged but not mandatory.
