Obituary for Emilio Gonzalez Campa

Emilio Gonzalez Campa, 58, September 29, 2020, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-Marquette Park neighborhood, dearly beloved husband of Juana Ruiz Gonzalez; cherished father of Fernando Gonzalez, Maricela Gonzalez, and Jorge Gonzalez; adored grandfather of Angel Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Azulenny Gonzalez, and Arianny Gonzalez; loving son of the late Alfonso Gonzalez and Bernarda Campa; devoted brother of 11; dear uncle of many, and friend to all.

Emilio’s dream was to bring his family from Mexico to Chicago. His hard work and positive work ethic allowed him to do so. He wanted the best for his wife and children. He was a roofer by trade and worked 6 days a week to ensure a better life for his family. Emilio enjoyed watching soccer and boxing. He had a passion for cars! His taste of music was enjoyed by all, that being Mexican Polka Music.
