Ezequiel “Cheke” Perez, 69, May 6, 2020, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-Gage Park neighborhood, formerly of Little Village neighborhood on the West Side; dear husband of Maria G. Mendoza Perez; dearly beloved father of Cesar Perez, Rolando Perez, Norma Perez, and Anna Perez; loving grandfather of Katilyn and Emilyn Perez, Andrew and Fiona Perez, Diego Comparan, and Isaac Monreal; devoted son of the late Rafael and Esther Rodriguez Perez; survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Texas.
