Obituary for Flaudiano Villanueva

Flaudiano Villanueva, 79, December 24, 2020, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago–West Lawn neighborhood, beloved husband of Paula Reyes De Villanueva; cherished dad of Natividad, Gaudencio, Jose, Rosa M., Rodolfo, Oralia, and Lilia; devoted grandfather of 12; dear and brother of 7. He was a fun- loving uncle and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Facundo and Maria Rosa Rodriguez Villanueva.

Flaudiano came to the United States to make a better life for his family. He worked very hard and was able to move his family here. He was a hardworking man, strong, but compassionate. He was a very generous person, his family calls him a “giver,” even while he was fighting his own illness.
He loved to cook and was the “chef” of the family. His favorite dish was carnitas. He was a music lover and the life of the party. Flaudiano loved to dance to Mexican music. He was easy to talk to, and made everlasting friendships with all he met. Faudiano will be missed by all.
