Frank Hartman, (Hartmannsgruber), 77, March 1, 2013, lifelong resident of Chicago, of Southwest side-Garfield Ridge neighborhood for over 50 years, beloved husband of 59 years to Eileen, nee Beckman; devoted father of Christine (John) Colon, Michael (Kimberly) Hartman and the late Edward Hartman; loving grandfather of Cassandra and Christina Colon, Jake Hartman, Melissa and Amy; dear son of the late Wolfgang and Rose Steiner Hartmannsgruber; fond brother of Jean (William) Hunt, Patricia (late Richard) Crotty, Margueritte (Fred) Ludwig and the late Rosie Duh. Served in the U.S. Army, veteran of Korean War. Over 38 years of service with Illinois Bell, Ameritech and A T & T. Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where friends call on Sunday, March 3, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Sunday at 5 p.m. Cremation Monday at Countryside Crematory.
