In loving memory of Frank Matthew Kacprzak, age 77, the loving son of the late Matthew and Martha Kacprzak; caring brother to the late Carol Hardwick; beloved husband of his wife of 56 years, Marian; devoted father of Perry (Valerie), Daniel (Michelle), and Frank Jr.; grandfather to Jessica, Mikhail, Miles, Parker, and Konner; uncle to many nephews and nieces; Frank Matthew Kacprzak was dearly loved by family and numerous friends, and he will be missed.
Frank was a U.S. Army veteran. After the service, he worked for the railroad to support his young family and buy a house in Garfield Ridge. He was a dedicated and active member of A.A. throughout his adult life, and for years managed local meetings at St. Daniel.
He was a plainspoken man, god-fearing, a lifelong Catholic, and proud to be born and raised in Chicago. He knew the city well. He was a avid reader, and the local library is better for his time there, where he had many books ordered from other branches over the years. From humble origins, he made a good life. May he rest in peace.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service 6:00 p.m. Cremation following in accordance with Frank’s wishes.
