Obituary for Gabriela Ramirez
Gabriela Ramirez 44, February 8, 2020, longtime resident of the Pilsen and Brighton Park neighborhoods; devoted wife of Ralph Ralls and cherished mom of Julian Velazquez and Raina Ralls. Preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria Ramirez; she was the fun-loving sister of the late Rick Ramirez; loving niece, loving aunt, and loyal friend to all who knew her.
Gabriela was proudly employed at the University of Illinois Medical Center as an administrative aide. She loved her colleagues and was a big asset to her position. She enjoyed listening and dancing to music, such as Billie Eilish and Selena. Gabriela was outgoing and had a big heart. Creative, funny and a little "crazy," she was loved by all. Gabriela loved to cook and was a big fan of "Hello Kitty," which brought much laughter to the family. Special mention was her being an animal lover, especially to Larry the Lizard and Nina the dog!
Family and friends will gather at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 2 to 8 p.m. Cremation following in accordance with her wishes.
