George F. Kremer, 68, November 2, 2018. lifetime resident of the southwest side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood, dearly beloved husband of Lisa M. Zanazaro Kremer; devoted father of Amy (Troy) DePeder and Abigail Kremer; proud grandfather of Michael, Adam, and Christopher DePeder; preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Edna Friedl Kremer; dear son in law of Anthony and Joan Zanazaro; loving brother of Martin (Deena) Kremer, Flori (Richard) Hayes, Linda (John) Alyinovich, Gail (late Dan) Hicks, Albert (Terri) Kremer, Edna (Bryan) Tymick, John (Sharon Bailey) Kremer and Lou Ann (Daniel) Sopata; fond uncle of many.

George was an industrial mechanic best known for repairing sewing machines.

Family and friends will gather at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, on Thursday, November 8, from 3 to 8 p.m. Memorial Service at 7 p.m.

Aunt Lisa, Abby and Amy,
My dearest condolences. Uncle George was one of a kind, while he may look like his siblings, grandma or grandpa. He was one of a kind, his big hugs and the most genuine laugh proved just that. He was thoughtful, even when you weren’t expecting it. I remember him coming over to our house early one Saturday morning unexpectedly. My dad wakes me up and I go into the kitchen to see that Uncle George had dropped off his old camera gear for me. He did that, just because he heard that I was taking a photography class in high school and that I was falling in love with photography. I still have his camera gear to this day,and he is one of the main reasons I am a photographer today. He was one of a kind. We were blessed to have him here with us for as long as we did. Now the heavens are blessed with his presence. Love you guys.
