Obituary

Ida Mae Hill was born on February 16, 1957 to loving parents, Geneva and James Griffin, Sr. Her parents, sister, Carol Cook and brothers, Victor and Reginald Griffin, all preceded her in death. Ida grew up in Chicago where she attended Robert A. Waller High School. During her younger years she was very athletic and loved sports.

In 1980 Ida met and fell in love with Clifford Earl Hill and raised a beautiful family of four children. Ida was a great homemaker. She was an awesome cook and loved spending time with her family. Ida gave her heart to the Lord in 1992 and became a true prayer warrior. She loved listening to Christian music. She also enjoyed watching movies with her grandchildren. Ida was a loving aunt and friend to all who met her. Ida went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness. She will be deeply missed.

She leaves to mourn her passing, four daughters, Latasha and Mysha Griffin, Leticia Hill-Medrala (Marcin), and Alicia Hill; six grandchildren, Donte Jr., Alexis, Andre II, Michael, Andriana and Ashley; two sisters, Sherine Gordon and Clarissa Negron; three brothers, James Louis, Jr., Terrance and Tyrone Griffin and a host of loved ones, saints, and friends.
