Jaime Aponte, 57, December 8, 2019, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago; loving husband of Maria G. Nevarez. beloved son of the late Jose Morales and Iris Aponte; cherished father of Jason, Roberto, Adilene, (the late) Tanairi, Cristal, Jonathan (Angelica) Kassandra, James, Melina and Tanairy; devoted brother of 4 sisters and 1 brother; adored grandfather of 4; fond brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Jaime loved to cook. His favorite past time with the exception of time spent with his family was washing the family cars and vans. Never a spot to be found on any! He was a fan of music, enjoying all varieties. Jaime enjoyed gardening and admiring his flower garden. Last but not least, he had a smile provoking nickname: "Jim Bean."
