James E. “Jimmy” Von Thaden, 64, December 4, 2020, lifetime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood; beloved son of Mary Sheehan Von Thaden and the late John H. Von Thaden; survived by sons, John R. Von Thaden and Bryan Von Thaden; grandfather of Lauryn, Dane, Rachel, Anthony, Shanna, Nicholas, Valerie, Sarah, Annabelle, Brayden Von Thaden, and Patrick Evers, Jr.; brother of Mary Theresa “Teri” Kristof, John B. Von Thaden, William “Billy” Von Thaden, Christine Schrama, and the late Robert “Bobby” Von Thaden; proud uncle and great uncle of many; dear friend of Kenny Koval.

Jimmy served as a private ambulance paramedic for 25 years before retiring.
