Obituary for Jesse M. Vega Jr.
Jesse M. Vega, Jr., 28, called home on August 18, 2019, lifetime resident of the south side of Chicago; dearly beloved son of Jesse M. and Carmen Vega; cherished father of Amaya, loving partner of Adriana Magana; dearest brother of Denise, Stacy and Jasmine Vega; dear uncle of Aneza, Lalanie, Jacob, Cristiano, Meilani and A.J.; loving grandson of Graciela Vargas Vega and the late Francisco Vega and the late Lino and Maria Ochoa; fond nephew, cousin and friend of many.
Jesse was devoted to his family, especially his “Pretty Girl”, Amaya. His most recent accomplishment was receiving his CDL License and working as a seasonal driver for the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation. Jesse loved riding his Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Iron whenever he could. He was a talented athlete and bean bag player and enjoyed playing in many tournaments.
Resting at NEW LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 3601 S. 61ST Ave. (36th & Austin), Cicero where family and friends will gather on Friday, August 23rd, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 24th from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial St. Mary Cemetery.
