Joan Marie Kulovitz (Farnan)
81, lifelong resident of Canaryville, died peacefully at home on November 28, 2022, surrounded by family after a year-long battle with lung cancer. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Kulovitz (retired CPD). Cherished sister of James (Maureen) Farnan, Mike (late Lynn) Farnan, Edward (Eileen) Farnan.
Joan was the loving mother to Robert (Linda) Kulovitz, Ann (Scott Berglund) Kulovitz, Mary Pat (Albert) Kerwin, Jeanne (Thomas) Falk, James (Annmarie) Kulovitz, Edward (Clarissa) Kulovitz, Michael (Barbara) Kulovitz, Katherine (Timothy) Ligue.
Blessed grandmother to Michelle McGarry, Danielle (Dan) McGarry-Kotek, Patrick Del Percio, Rebecca (Ryan) Krueger, Daniel Kurnick, Janna Kurnick, Paul Kurnick, Albert (Jillian) Kerwin, Mary Fran (Michael) McMullin, Robert Kerwin, Genevieve Kerwin, Thomas (Emily Janowski) Falk, Jessica (Joshua) Gunn, Michael (Holly Ligue) Falk, Emily Falk; Conor, Liam, Nora Joan, and Seamus Kulovitz; Dylan, Evan, Joshua, and Caleb Kulovitz; Ruby and Joseph Kulovitz; Jake, Claire, and Ryan Ligue.
Loving Great-Grandmother to Grace and Daniel Shannon, Jameson Falk, Charlotte and Elizabeth Kotek, Iris Krueger, Henry and Colton Gunn, Michael McMullin, and Andie Kerwin.
Joan was a proud Irish Catholic and a life-long parishioner of St. Gabriel Church. She enjoyed spending her time with four generations of family at the compound in Three Oaks, MI. She was a devoted friend to her Ya-Yas.
Services will be held at McInerney Central Chapel where family and friends will gather on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery.
