Joellen “Jo” Tobias, nee Bugas, 72, March 29, 2021, a lifelong resident of Chicago, loving mother of Antonia “Toni” (Will) Lopez and Anastacia “Stacey” (Favio) Reyes; cherished grandmother of Nathaniel, Paul, Jessica, Jackie, and Jacob; great-grandmother of Isaac; also survived by Domingo Tobias Jr. Preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Marguerite Walz Bugas; and one brother James “Jimmy” Bugas.
Joellen was the Owner/Operator of JT Appraisals for over 30 years. She enjoyed going out to eat and traveling with her family and friends. She loved listening to music, especially Bob Marley and Reggae. Her family described her as the life of the party. She was free spirit, always smiling, very happy, outgoing, and adventurous.
Services at ST. MALACHY PRECIOUS BLOOD CHURCH, 2248 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL where family and friends will gather on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Malachy Precious Blood Church, 2248 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60612.
