Jose Luis Gonzalez, 50, January 13, 2020, long time resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago, Chicago Lawn Neighborhood. Beloved husband of Maria Gonzalez and cherished father of Yesenia and Crystal Gonzalez. The proud son of Maria I. Gonzalez and the late Eliezer Gonzalez. He was a devoted brother to Yolanda Gonzalez, Ana Rose Gonzalez, Eliezer Gonzalez, Felix Gonzalez and Laura Gonzalez. He was fun loving uncle and friend to many.
Jose enjoyed cooking, and listening to music on his radio. He loved to spend time camping with his family and friends. One of his great pass times was fishing. He was known to be able to fix, just about anything. He was a machinist by trade and took great pride drawing out complicated repair plans.
Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Thursday, January 16, 2020, 8:45 a.m. at chapel, to St. Adrian Church 7000 S. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Cremation following in accordance with his wishes.
