Joseph J. “BOO” Diaz, 50, July 15, 2020, longtime resident of Buffalo Grove, IL, grew up in Hudson, IL, originally from the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood, dearly beloved husband of Kim Bawulski Diaz; loving father of Alexis Handley; devoted son of Joseph and Victoria Burns Diaz; fond brother of Jorianne Diaz; dear nephew and cousin of many; friend to all.

Proud member of International Union of Operating Engineers-Local 399. Stationary Engineer at Chicago Public Schools for many years.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 2 to 5 p.m. Cremation has taken place. PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID19 RESTRICTIONS, FOR MAXIMUM GATHERING OF 50 PERSONS AT A TIME, WILL BE OBSERVED WITH MASKS REQUIRED.
