Juan "Johnny" Parra, 49, November 23, 2019, of Glenwood, IL, former longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago; dearly beloved husband of Michele Belanski; devoted father of Cheyenne Parra, Juan Ceferino Parra, and Megan Johnson; loving son of Celestina Parra and the late Ceferino Parra; dearest brother of Maria Parra and Carmen Parra Gomez (Oscar); fond uncle of Jessie, Jackie, Jo, and Julius Gomez; lifelong friend, “honorary brother” of Diego (Marlene) Davila; proud godfather of Christian and Isabella Davila; dear son in law of Richard (Barbara) Belanski and the late Bonnie Belanski.

Services at McINERNEY CENTRAL CHAPEL, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Friday, November 29, 2019, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, November 30, 2019, 8:45 a.m., at chapel, to St. Clare Church, 5443 S. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Remember playing hockey downstairs in my parents house at Gage Park. Going to the park district. Playing baseball, basketball and football. We would go up and visit Michelle. My condolences to Michelle and to my other family.
