Obituary for Juan Salinas

Juan Salinas, 88 of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on November 26, 2020, after a four-week bout with pneumonia. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris; loving father of Luis, Nora, Juan (Sarah), Olga (Thomas), and Sergio (Arjelia); fond grandfather of 17 and great grandfather to many more; dear brother of the late Antonio, Manuel, Dolores, Guadalupe, and Noe; dear son of the late Guadalupe Tanguma and Antonio Salinas; beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Juan was a warm and loving partner to his late wife Doris, as well as a devoted father and grandfather. He had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need. He was of strong character and demonstrated it until the very end.

The immediate family will gather for a Memorial Mass on Monday, December 14, 2020, 12 Noon, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 1919 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, IL. Cremation will have taken place.
