Juana Guerra, September 18, 2021, 81 long time resident of the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago. Adored wife of the late Alfonso Tafoya. Beloved mother of Gabriel (Irma) Tafoya, Alfonso (Martha) Tafoya and Reynaldo (Judith) Tafoya. Devoted sister of many brothers and sisters. Cherished grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 9; and daughter of the late Enrique Guerra and Otilia Rodriguez.
Juana was born in Mexico. She loved shopping! She enjoyed going to church each weekend and spending time with her family. A favorite past time was her watching “action” movies. She was a devoted aunt and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Wednesday Sept 22, 2021 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral, Thursday, Sept 23, 2021 , at Chapel 8:45 a.m. then proceeding to St. Joseph Church 1723 West 48th Street, Chicago, Illinois for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.. Cremation will follow in accordance with her wishes.
MASKS ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT CHURCH. SOCIAL DISTANCING IS ENCOURAGE.
