LaVerne M. Andrews, nee Krebs, 96, May 8, 2019, lifelong resident of the south side of Chicago-Bridgeport neighborhood, dearly beloved wife of the late Hugh D. Andrews and the late Frank Mantia, Veteran of World War II, Killed In Action; cherished mother of Cathy (Robert) Davies, Cheryl (late William) McKenzie and David Andrews; devoted grandmother of Robert (Della) Davies, Jr., Erin Grafen, Allison McKenzie and William McKenzie; dear great grandmother of Vivienne G. Davies, Xavier M. Davies, Hunter Grafen, Alayna, Nathan and Lucas Barajas; preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elsie Noetzel Krebs; one sister, Myrtle Schaeffer; and two brothers, Donald Krebs and Andrew Krebs; dear aunt of many.

LaVerne was a lifelong, faith filled member at Nativity of Our Lord Church serving in various ways including being active in the Altar and Rosary Society and serving on the Nativity School Board.

Visitation Monday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CHURCH, 653 W. 37th St., Chicago. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
