Obituary for Leandro Flores Jr.

Leandro Flores, Jr., aka “Yanis” and “Piporro” 65, October 27, 2020, longtime resident of Chicago. beloved son of Mariana and the late Leandro Flores, Sr.; loving brother of Martha Caldero (David Delvalle), Anna, Sergio (Juanita), Alma, Nidia, Javier (Brandi), Jose (Minerva) Flores, and Deyanira Flores (Rayel Griffin); cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews; dearest godfather of Shayla Lopez; fond nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Leandro was known for always joking around with others and called people he cared about names he created for them. He enjoyed watching baseball and soccer. Leandro enjoyed taking his daily walks within his community and socializing with those around him. He enjoyed dining out at his favorite restaurants in which he became known. He loved traveling to Mexico which he spent many months yearly visiting his family, Leandro was known for being helpful to his friends and family.

Friends and family will gather at McINERNEY CENTRAL CHAPEL, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, IL, on Monday, November 2, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Cremation following.
