Leonard J. Wierz
Age 85, a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away on March 19, 2021. Beloved husband of Anita Wierz (Kuras); dear brother-in-law of Maggie (late Paul) Kuras, Christine (William) Bartgen, and Mark (Carol) Kuras; fond uncle of numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Leonard was preceded in death by his loving brothers, the late Edward (Joyce) Wierz and the late Dr. John (Dolores) Wierz.
Leonard was a United States Army Veteran and diehard Chicago Bears fan. He was the Owner/Operator of Crawford Automotive for 25 years, and Manager for the City of Chicago Motor Maintenance Garage for 20 years.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Funeral Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL to follow.
