Louis Robert Gonzalez "Bobby" / "Lou" , age 76 passed away on March 6, 2017 of St. Simons Island, Georgia. Born and raised in Chicago Lou worked for the Chicago Transit Authority as an Electrician and was a member of Local 9 Union. He had a passion for playing the blues on his guitar, riding his horse the late Queenie and being on island time.

He is preceded in death by is father, Louis George Gonzalez, his mother, Susan Chavez Gonzalez, his sister, Beatrice Sperekas and his former wife Jean Marie Drop Gonzalez. He is survived by his siblings Gloria Caswick, Sandra (Jack) Kraus, Sylvia Perez and his grandchildren Caitlin Gonzalez, Louis Tomas Gonzalez and their mother Denise O'Dowd along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 31, 2017 at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL from 9 a.m. until 12 noon with a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 a.m. Burial St. Mary Cemetery.
