Maria Lopez, 68, February 7, 2022, long time resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago. Oldest of 9, Beloved mother of 7 and adored grandmother of 13. She was a great friend and aunt to many. Maria was preceded in death by her parents Erasto Gutierrez and Maria De Los Angeles Lopez. Maria loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a cheerful woman, loved to sing and bring joy to all. She would pray with her rosary each night before bed. One of her favorite past times was shopping. She enjoyed shopping for others, more so than herself. Purísima will be missed by all of her loved ones and forever remain in our hearts.

Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday 10 a.m. at Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Casimir Cemetery for Burial in the Guadalupe Shrine Section. MASKS MUST BE WORN WHILE IN THE FUNERAL HOME.
