Macrina Ortiz Gutierrez, 76, March 12, 2020, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-Brighton Park neighborhood; beloved wife of Ponsiano Gutierrez; devoted mother of Martina (Francisco) Gonzalez, Manuela Favela, Elvia (Robert) Herrera, Sebastian (Petra) Gutierrez, Ramona Gutierrez, Maria Adela (Reyes) Cortez, Felipe Gutierrez, Jose Luis Gutierrez, Danny Gutierrez, and Ruben (Edith) Gutierrez; fond daughter of the late Sebastian and Felipa Arechar Ortiz; dear sister of Ramon (Elvia) Ortiz, Maria (Jose Luis) Alvarado, Jose Luis (Cynthia) Ortiz, Daniel Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Magdalena (late Manuel) Osorio, Eloy (Jackie) Ortiz, Maria Ortiz Stehle, Jose (Becky) Ortiz and Ana (Alan) Justice; loving grandmother, aunt, great grandmother, and great great grandmother of many.

In view of the Coronavirus and out of concern for their friends and loved ones, Macrina’s family will gather for private family services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
