Maria Del Rosario Duarte, 64, February 5, 2021, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-Brighton Park neighborhood, beloved wife of Jose D. Duarte; cherished mother of Erika (Mauricio) Nowak, Coral Duarte, and Erik (Jacive) Duarte; proud grandmother of Olivia Nowak; devoted daughter of the late Armando and Petra Martinez Garza; loving sister of Amparo (Manuel) Cavazos and Nicolas (Elda) Garza.

Maria was a dedicated employee of Advocate Christ Hospital for over 44 years, where she was a Medical Records Analyst and was affectionately known as the “Queen of the Chart Room.”

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 7 p.m. Deacon Manuel Salgado, officiating.
