Maria Lopez, nee Rivera, 90, May 13, 2021,longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood. Loving wife of the late Herminio Lopez; devoted mother of the late John Lopez and Maria Lopez; cherished grandmother of Reena Lopez, Niko Lopez, Brianna Lopez, Irma Olavarria, Amparo Olavarria, Milagros Olavarria, Nelida Olavarria, Daniel Olavarria, Carmen Olavarria, and Carlos Olavarria; also survived by numerous treasured great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; beloved daughter of the late Arturo Rivera and Teresa Escalante; dearest sister of Emiliana Rivera, late Fernando Rivera, late Aurelio Rivera, late Angela Rivera, late Maria Rosario Rivera, and the late Marta Rivera.

Cremation has taken place. A private Memorial Mass will be held at St. Symphorosa Church for the family Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
