Maria R. Rodriguez (Vera), 93, passed away on February 28, 2021, with her family by her side. Adored wife of the late Manuel S. Rodriguez; loving mother of Victor (Librada) Rodriguez, Oscar (Celia) Rodriguez, late William (late Sharon) Rodriguez and Gloria Rodriguez; cherished grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother of 40.
Maria was a longtime resident of the Clearing-Garfield Ridge neighborhood in Chicago. Maria’s family is at peace knowing she is now united with her beloved husband, cherished son and host of siblings. Maria was a gracious, beautiful person and devout Christian who loved her family. Maria would light up a room with her energetic, charismatic, caring smile and boisterous laugh. Her generosity and devotion to her family and friends will never be forgotten.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Friday, February 5, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM with procession to Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL to follow.
