Martina Aviles, 99, January 3, 2023 beloved mother of Aida "Lucy" Aviles, Luis Angel Varela, Sonia Iris Lozada, Jose Antonio Lozada and Evelyn Lozada Eccard. Cherished grandmother of John Gullo Jr., Myriann Tello, Robert Varela and Isabella Lozada, great grandmother of Crystal, Giovanni, Steven, Robert and Juliana, great great grandmother of Horacio, Princeton, Laila, Evan, Cienna, Armando, Reign, Anissa, Zayne and Davian. Devoted sister of the late Domingo, late Praxedes, late Felicita and the late Pedro; also survived by Francisco Lozada.

Martina was very adventurous. She took joy and comfort in feeding the alley cats and donating to the local animal rescues in support of all animals. She loved her coffee and donuts followed closely by singing and dancing. Martina enjoyed all music, a favorite being jibarito music and the sound of accoustatic guitar. Martina would relax by sewing, especially Lace. She cherished her time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at Central Chapel 6158 S. Central, Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 10 a.m. at Funeral Home. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
