Mary P. Murray Harper, 88, April 1, 2021, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago - Garfield Ridge neighborhood, beloved wife of the late Frederick Harper; loving mother of Patrick Harper; cherished sister of John Murray.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Mary Gibbons Murray; her children, Frederick Charles Harper, Jr. and Pamela Harper; and sisters, Noreen and Kathleen Murray.
Mary loved music and enjoyed singing. She was described by her family as strong and disciplined. Mary was very selfless and generous to all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who will always be remembered and never forgotten.
Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, April 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
