Mary E. “Babe” Hunt (nee Sexton)
77, born and raised In Huntsville, TN, and settled in South Side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Marshall E. Hunt; loving mother of Robert Hunt and Tina Hunt; cherished grandmother of Kari (Brian Melville) Kendrick, Bradley (Christina Fornek) Sullivan and great-grandmother of Jeremy Kendrick and Riley Sullivan; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Lessie Sexton (nee Chambers); and her siblings Hollis Sexton, Jean Ellis, Reba
Thatcher, Lindsey Sexton, Larry Wayne Sexton, and Janet Sue Williams.
Services will be held at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral service Monday, March 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial Mt.
