Obituary

Migdalia Rodriguez, 66, July 7, 2020, born in Puerto Rico, currently living in the Ashburn neighborhood in Chicago, beloved wife of Miguel A. Rodriguez, Sr.; cherished mom of Miguel A. Rodriguez, Jr., Rosa Y. Rodriguez, Migdalia Rodriguez and Michelle Rodriguez; “Awesome” grandmother of Rain, Brandon, Briana, Jocelyn, Belvet, Angelo, Julian, Michelle, Jorge, Brisa, and Eric Jr.; cherished daughter of Benedicta Martinez; a devoted sister to the late Henderson Martinez and Betty Soldevila.

Migdalia’s greatest joy was caring for her family and grandchildren. She loved music and watching her favorite TV show – Caso serado. She was an amazing cook… her love for Puerto Rican food (especially her famous rice dish) and it showed through. She was known as a Jack of all trades– there was nothing she could not do.She was a fun loving aunt and friend to many. She will be missed beyond words.

To Mrs. Migdalia Rodriguez and family, you raised a wonderful son and daughters, but Miguel is our Teamster Brother! He spoke often of you. You were (ARE) his HEART! He will make you proud as he carries on the examples of life and love that you instilled in him. God bless you for all you've done for those that knew and loved you.
