Obituary

Neil Thomas Madsen, 75, November 1, 2020, of Oak Lawn, IL, formerly of Evergreen Park; loving husband of Maureen; cherished father of Eric (fianceé Ashley) Madsen, Jay Madsen, Christopher Madsen and the late David Madsen; preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Claire Madsen; devoted brother of the late Gerry (Jean) Madsen, the late Sandra Madsen and Judi (John) Moore; fond uncle and friend to many.

Neil was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134 for 35 years. He enjoyed being an assistant Boy Scout Leader of Troop 596. Neil enjoyed outdoor activities such as taking care of his lawn and garden. He got pleasure out of building bird houses and feeding the furry tenants of such. He liked to travel, read books, and was an avid golfer. One of his most special past times was spent with his beloved border collie, Kayla. Neil was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
