Nicholas Salvador Flores Jr.
84, January 18, 2022, longtime resident of the South Side of Chicago. Beloved husband of Toni nee Allen; loving father of Nick Flores, Billy Allen, Kenny (Yolanda) Malkowski, and Toni (Joe) LaRocco; cherished papa of Rachel, Ryan, Nona, Catherine, Daniel Flores, Katlyn (Chrisitan) Rodriguez, Giana (Endy) LaRocco, Chloe LaRocco, and Alanna LaRocco and great-papa of Rudy Rodriguez; treasured god-father of Mary Vodicka Trelc; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas Salvador Flores Sr. and Catherine Flores Hernandez; and his siblings the late Joe (late Mary) Flores, late Mary (late John) Resendiz, and late Eleanor (late Jim) Vodicka.
Nick was an avid baseball, and Chicago Cubs fan! He loved going to Cubs games, and would collect baseball cards for his son. He was a professional bowler, and hosted numerous fundraisers for the bowling leagues he belonged to. He was a Proprietor of Chicago Bowlers Pro Shop and top Notch Silk Screening. Nick was a member of the Men’s Club at St. Anthony Church, and was on the Board of Directors Credit Union for many years. He enjoyed listening to old records, but most of all he adored spending time with his family!
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m. Prayer Service 7:30 p.m. Cremation will follow in accordance with Nick’s wishes. For those attending services, MASK
