Obituary for Norma G. Paterala
Norma G. Paterala, nee Borrelli, age 92, a longtime resident of Addison and most recently, Windsor Park, passed away on September 20, 2020. She was born on April 20, 1928 in Chicago, IL. Norma was married to the late Stanley Paterala, Jr. Norma is survived by her devoted children, Richard (Jane Ann) Paterala, Lisa (Joe) Kyle, Andrea Paterala and Robert (Cheryl) Paterala; cherished grandchildren, Ricky (Kim) Paterala, Joe (Lindsay) Paterala, Austin (Andrea) Kyle, Alexandra Kyle, Nicholas Paterala, Michael Paterala, Alyssa Paterala, Nikki Paterala, Keith Hugh, and Samantha (Adam) Sassman; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Evelyn, Colton, Kyla and Kylie.
Norma spent many years raising her cherished children. Before and after her “at home” career, she was a legal secretary and then an Administrative Assistant at Elmhurst Hospital. She enjoyed travel with family and friends. She was always excited to spend time with her grandchildren. She was also active in senior activities in Addison and Windsor Park and volunteered in her community.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 1223 West Holtz Avenue, Addison, IL. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 a.m. Private Burial, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. FOR THOSE ATTENDING CHURCH SERVICE, PLEASE CALL ST.
