Roberto Llerena 76, March 3, 2023 born in Mexico, long time resident of the southwest side of Chicago. Beloved son of the late Jesus and Teresa (nee Fuentes) Llernea. Devoted brother of the late Maria Guadelupe, the late Ray Mundo, Maria DeJesus, the late Raul Llerena and Arturo Llerena. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews, and a great friend and neighbor to many.
Roberto enjoyed Bicycle riding. He was dedicated to hard work. A favorite past time was loving and caring for animals and spending time in his garden. Roberto was very giving and had a big heart.
Services will be held at Central Chapel 6158 S. Central, Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at the Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church. 6200 S. Lawndale, Chgo., 60629 Cremation following.
