Rogelio Guerra September 11, 2022, lifelong resident of South Side of Chicago, Clearing neighborhood. Beloved husband of Maria T. (nee Oquendo) Guerra. Cherished father of Maria Sofia (Elizabeth Mendez) Oquendo, Rogelio Guerra, Jr., (Laura) Guerra, and Isabella Guerra. Proud grandfather of Matthew E. Guerra and Genesis A. Guerra. Rogelio was the devoted son of the late Enrique R. Guerra and Maria L. Morales Guerra. He was the fun loving brother of 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Rogelio was known as the family “jokester”, he loved to joke. He had a BIG HEART and was very kind and helpful to all he met. He loved to give advise to folks and was the handy-man for all. He could fix anything. He loved his job, making it his favorite hobby. He was a loving uncle and friend to many.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. at Funeral Home. 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius V Church, 1919 S. Ashland Avenue, Chicago.Burial - Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois
